Of course kids copy parents and if the parents are alcoholics and drug takers it is very likely that the kids will follow suit. While we can teach the kids about drugs and quite often reach them with good sense the problem really comes to a head when they are exposed to group pressure. That’s the test of effectiveness of the drug education and also the character test. It takes a very strong person to stand up against a group.
